Fun, compassionate, community-centered education

What is Prosocial Learning?

Prosocial actions are simply actions that benefit other people, or society as a whole. Prosocial learning is…

Learning with care.

I care about each learner as a person. I get to know you, I earn your trust and respect, and I learn from you. I know that you have plenty to teach me, too!

Holistic Learning.

I treat each learner as a whole person. In order for the brain to learn, we need to feel safe, heard, validated, and comfortable in our bodies. I help you to optimize your body, nervous system, emotions, and family dynamics for lasting, relevant learning.

Learning for a changing world.

We’re living in historic times of social chaos and climate change. I have no interest in preparing people for a fantasy world that no longer exists, or mindless obedience - “Work hard, get good grades, and do this because you’re supposed to.” I teach focus, self-awareness, empathy, self-expression, listening, cognitive flexibility, and collaboration - all essential skills for surviving and thriving in unprecedented times.
